why i included "Me..gay?" as part of this post's title?


Relax...
let me explain to you guys what exactly happened...


In one of my projects,
CATS project,
my group and i came up with one idea,
to do a video abt what other people know abt a specific topic...


And since CATS stands for Creative and Applied Thinking Skills,


we decided to act out as different kinda people, which was being interviewed...


I myself acted out as an Ah Beng, a Nerd, and a SISSY/Gay...


when i was editing the video, i can't believe my own eyes...


Inner self: wah not bad aaa~ good acting


Probably i should acc Charles to go mediacorp to be a part-time calefare after Common Test...

Today during CATS lesson(again),
i acted out as a gay in my group's skit...


MY GOD...




MAN, I am perfectly straight...


Can't i have a male role for once...




At least my sacrifice effort paid off...


My chiochiochio teacher told me that i got a high B up until now..
just 1-2 marks to an A


i'll just work harder for my next CATS project...




For the second part of the post, i'm going to intro to you one of my friends that i got to meet in my S&W lesson.

So, why am i introducing him to you guys?


Reason 1:


Today, he challenged Mikhal to a "拉 rim" competition...


Mikhal was showing off doing his weekly routine,


he jumped from under the basket and grabbed the rim for a moment before he release his hands...


The whole basket shaked...


He was smiling with satisfaction


Just then, 'Yao Ming' dribbled the ball to the other side of the court and did a layup,
and grabbed the rim quickly after he released the ball from his hand...


The basketwhole court shaked like mad..


The whole class was stunned..


All eyes were on 'Yao Ming'


And then, slowly turned to Mikhal...


Ohya,
Mikhal only knows one rule for basketball,

With fire burning in his eyes, he took a 2nd jump,
this time, he failed...

I FINALLY cleared my CATS presentation!!

My presentation was on Cultural Quotient, CQ in short...

Well i fact, the whole of my CATS class chose CQ...

but then the comparison used were different for all groups...

One group chose to compare how people from Africa and from Singapore(Chinese)

do Funerals...

They did a skit of a chinese funeral...

Well, i think overall their skit/presentation was so interesting...

they were daring too, to choose this 'funeral' topic...

Didn't play basketball today...

I didn't go for my niece's 满月today...

But instead, went for the Fuhua NCC Amazing Race...in Sentosa...

So sian throughout the Race..

Sun was scorching...Lots of Walking...Running...Lots of bikini babes...Lots of Fried Rice i had...

This vending machine was a money-dispenser...

We took these coins that was dispensed out from the vending machines and insert them back in the vending machine...

Then few dollars were despensed out together with these coins..

Free drinks scammed...

Now that my CATS and the Ncc Amazing Race'08 had sucessfully come to an end,

I can temporarily take a breather and rest

I will have to prepare for my OBSE project and BCOMM assignment next week...

Had my S&W lesson...


In my S&W class, there is this guy called Mickhal or sth..


he is half Arabic and half chinese
(as told by him)


he is also my classmate for the rest of the modules except for CATS


he is a national boxer(damn fit)


he is a joker


he is much taller than me (abt 185cm)


he jumps and pulled the basketball rim as if its child's play


he rejected me 2-3 times on this S&W lesson, when we had a 6 v 6 full court match...


although my team and i won, but then he did 'shaken-ed' me


after the match, he was like...


M: hey ck, just now...so sorry sia...


his facial expression tells me that it wasn't sincere..
he was smiling radiantly...
he was cunning

i can't do anything to retaliate as i don't wana be box-ed by him


In the evening i met up with jianlai, darren, shunjie, shannon, aloy, lam, junwen, seowwah at je mrt platform, before going to catch a movie at GV @ marina there...


when we were at the ticketing area, we were casting votes to which 2 movie to watch,
Madagascar Escape 2 Africa , or Quantum Of Solace Movie

Then Shannon, who wanted to watch Quantum Of Solace Movie , called eugene, who was on his way to meet us, for his preference

when we were almost done eating our food, we wanted to take a 全家福 photo of everyone.
And so we asked one of the staffs there to take the photo for us...


Me: can you help us take a photo?


Staff: erh..erh..i dono how to take photo...
*she was trembling with fear...


Me: But its just pressing a button..thats all...i teach u?


Staff: erh...i asked my colleague to take for you...
*quickly ran for assistance...

Pass few days of suffering

Last sunday i and gang went to xb hse, initially planned to do tutorial qns for the following week..

but then,...

Xb, Yq, Mt and i went into xb's room...

Yq quickly got his laptop on xb's only table, and sat on the only chair in xb's room.

Mt eyed the comfy queen sized bed(xb sleeps alone), fell onto the bed and got his laptop in front of him.

I sat on xb's bed too(obviously the not the side of the bed as Mt) and took out my tutorial qns.

i didn't bring along my laptop was not because i am afraid that my laptop would get lost, but because xb's hse don't have internet connection. So what for i bring...

Xb retarded-ly entered the room with his hand holding on to a walking cane.

He saw yq with his face looking full of cunningness, satisfaction as he was faster that xb and got the only chair. He shaked his head, placed his laptop on the table beside yq's, and

went out to get another chair.

And he returned the room with an ancient, wooden chair with ancient craving of dragon craved on it.

Then, it happened...

Yq: lets do it~

xb: Lai~

Mt: ok~

And they started playing dota...

I am the only one who did tutorial qns that day...

Ohya...

Mt got a new 艺名 nickname, called 碰碰爱...

Its a long story...

After that, we had out dinner at 碰碰龙 JinLong's store, at the Boon Lay Shopping Center.

The kway teow was quite good, you guys may consider going down to try=)

ohya..wednesday was like a living hell day to me...

As usual, i had my morning tutorial,

during my tutorial, my head hurts like @#$%^&^%$#@

SERIOUS, i swear to god...

I barely survived thru the whole 3hr tutorial...

I ended up skipping my lecture in the afternoon...

I took panadols

I slept for 4-5hrs

I can't do my ITB assignments

my CATS assignment

my BCOMM revision for the email test on thurs...

It totally sucks.

Thurs(Today)

Feeling much better...

Skipped my OBSE tutorial and sat my BCOMM test...

It was a TOTAL DISASTER

Sigh

Went to fuhua to have a meeting with yuqing for the NCC amazing race proposal, but then he actually MISPLACED HIS THUMBDRIVE...

GREAT...SIMPLY GREAT..

wasted trip again.

This sat will be the fuhua's open house and i will have to go...

So sat i will be very rush as i will have open hse in the morning and weekly bball in the afternoon.

Its 1.44am now and i have to wake up at 6am ltr...

Updates..Do-Hearts Tutorial

Well,

ytd i DIDN'T went to the NP@45 party...

Which at first thought that it will be very boring...
(cos its goin to be in ngee ann? =.='')

Earlier today i bumped into qinghui and when i asked him...

Anyways, how was the NP@45 party ytd?

He was like...

Wah..the party not bad leh...the whole convention hall's lights were off....dicso lights everywhere..chio bus everywhere ...dry ices to have the misty effect...den hor....

just too many thing to be included in this post..



today,
i had the usual weekly basketball activity with the usual gang, but not at the usual bball court...


As i totally am the stick-to-the-usual-routine kinda person,


i went to our usual bball court, the artpark, and only after an hour, got a call from xb, then i know the gang was at the color court...

have the 1st & 2nd one from the right, to go down and go thru oneof the slots behind the heart shape...

In the morning, i was on the same bus to sch with mt, ws, face, xincheng, sipei and kelvin...

But then sipei failed to spot us....

Then we were crapping chatting...

mt, ws and face were talking abt what happened ytd during Deepavali...

Of all the things they can possibly do on that festive season...

CATS, Appreciation Dinner

First of all,

CATS ≠ Cats, as in animal

CATS stands for Creative and Applied Thinking Skills

Something i wana comment on my CATS class is...

they are a very fun loving bunch...

Especially the teacher, Miss Mari Chan...

Tell you people...

Miss Mari is the chio-est (prettiest) teacher i ever come across in my years of 2seconds studying..

Not only that, she is a very cheerful and approachable teacher...

^o^

Hope i can get Good grade for my CATS module, and not let Miss Mari be disappointed..

Hmm...

Now the 'Appreciation Dinner'

Saw quite a few of familar faces i did see for sometime,
like HuangHao, Got Milk Liqing, Kelvin, ....


And NCC seniors like Hadi, Elvis, Luis, Chee Kuar, Perry, ...


Seeing their faces reminds me of the camp organized by Hadi, Elvis and Luis...


The camp was called the HELL camp,
as they called it, Hadi, Elvis and Luis Learning Camp...


In that camp, we went thru, as the name of the camp implies, HELL...


The 'treatment' i and some others had gone thru shall not be elaborated,


this is after much consideration for the safety & health/life of those with weak hearts, and weak mentally...


PS: 5years had passed, and Hadi is still as humourous as before...

S&W module

Ok...

So i am now in school,
the ngee ann poly atrium to be precise...(as some of you people can recognise the beckground of the photo...)


waiting for my next lesson at 10am...

So damn boring lah...

So i think of writing this post to tell you all more abt one of my module, which i just had...

S&W, which stands for Sports & Wellness, is a module whereby there is a coach teaching us more abt a particular sport...

And i chose...BASKETBALL!!

PS: Lian Da(Face) chose Basketball too

Ok back to the fundementals, some people might say...

but then its my first time learning fundementals...

so i am quite looking forward to the next lesson to start next week...

A boring day...

Had my BSTA lecture...

The lecturer reminds me of..

hmmm..

a small-sized crazy professor...

If you can't imagine how the lecturer looks like,

And the way he talks was like...

the un-understand-able

but overall his lecture was still ok...

Its the first time, apart from examinations,having to be in the lecture hall that quiet..

Wednesday

It was a busy day.

After the OBSE lecture by Captain Andrew( =.='') , i rushed down to je to run some errands and after that went to fuhua for NCC training...

Saw Derek for the first time after his China study trip during the sem break.

Then lame boliao jokes questions started to come out of mouth...

Hey...How was ur stay in China?

The food in China nice?

Did you have had any milk or any dairy products there in China!!??

LOL

He told me that he didn't seemed to enjoy the study trip to China...

And the food here in Singapore was better that what he ate during his stay in China...

And he of cos consumed China milk and dairy products...

Me and the rest's reaction was like 0.0"

It was a SIAN day.

Had 2 hrs of BCOMM tutorial only.

Ended ard 1pm.

Had lunch with Jx, Deb, Grace, Darren and Charles...

Ohya..and Deb's fren, Mel

When i first knew her name, i was surprised...

I even joked abt it...

Hey...

Mel right?

I see you every night sia...

If you are a ngee ann poly student, you would probably get the joke behind it...

Well, all Ngee ann poly students will have this Mobile E-Learning(MEL) to check into almost everyday to be updated on any changes to the modules or to download our modules notes...

For me, being a model student in Ngee ann poly, i will try make it a point to check on Mel everynight...

Tml i will be going to fuhua, not for NCC training, but for some 'Alumni Appreciation Dinner'

First Day of School !!

Today was my first day of the new semester...

Saw quite alot of familiar faces, like Jx, Darren Ong, Charles, Dc, Janice, Yian Ling, Debrah, Adrian, Hakim from sp, Yong lun, Maycee...

and other people i knew from the previous charity event i participated in, such as Ruth and Sylvia...

Kinda missed those days where we chit-chat and vlookup-ed tgt as a class...

Now we will have be seperated, with Charles, Dc, Debrah, and i in one class,

Jx and Darren Ong in one class, to cont'd our vlookup tradition...

First lesson i had was BCOMM, which stands for Business Communication...

The tutor is by the name of Mr Taylor,

not very old,

is a Caucasian...

Quite an interesting expirence as this is my first time being taught by a non-asian personnel...

In today's BCOMM,

The teacher asked us one question and wants us to each tell him our answer

Question:

If you have one year to spend in a particular place, where would you like to go?

My Answer:

India,

Cos i wana learn some Bollywood dancing moves!!

haha...

we also played quite a few games which i think they were...erh hemmm lame...

One game we played was about shaking hands...

In this game, we were supposed to turn to the people beside or near me, and give him or her a hand shake...

And there were several ways to do a hand shake...

Some of which were...

The Topper, which the handshake-er have to shake the handshake-ee, and also placing the other hand on top of the hands doing the handshake...

The Swinger, which the handshake-er have to shake the handshake-ee, and after that swing the hands side by side...

LOL

At a later part of the day, i had my MIEC lecture...

Followed my ITB lecture...

Conclusion for ITB lecture:

the lecturer looked like a clown featured in "Jobs For Juniors" in Kids central...

There was this Debby who Zw brought her to the Final Showdown...

And the thing is, i don't know who she is...

Ok...

i know she played maple and Yq, Zhengyang, Zw, Mt and Ws knows her...

BUT,

Not only i don't know her,
Tony,Alvin,Albin,Sperm,Kavan,Kang,Xc,Zhiqian and Shiyuan don't know her also...

I think this is worth the No.10 highlight for today...

This i will have to agree with Mt...

Xb strikes again....

Knowing of us being gentlemen

Attacking us with his cunning-ness...

If Shi yuan was in the same team as xb,

Xb would (always) pass the bball to her and we, being gentlemen, can't do anything but to stand at a distance,

and still have to clap & cheer even if we werent from the same team...

One time,

Sperm, Yq and Albin were in the same team....

And i started this short analysis on the 3 of them being in the same team...

Having to witness such an awkward team play was probably worth to be in my Top 10 highlights...

Yq's defence was one of the funniest thing i ever seen in basketball...

Have you seen 黄飞鸿 ?

Yq's defencive posture looks a lot like 黄飞鸿 's starting posture...

And it looks sth like this...

Sperm, being very 激动 , also did sth that i think deserves to be in my Top 10 highlights...

Sperm was dribbling at the perimeter(3-point line) ,

Probably because he sensed someone trying to come from his back and steals the ball,

he started to make an aggressive play by driving fast and hard to the basket,

underestimating the defence inside

He took one dribble from the perimeter, and 1 step...

One dribble from in-between the perimeter and the free-throw line, and 1 step...

Lastly, he took his last bounce, followed by a rough estimation of 10 steps before a lay-up...

lol...

Like as if we didn't saw that...

He was immediately given a red card and was benched for the rest of that match...

Well at least his life was spared...

Mt was again fantasizing...

he imagined the horizontial bar supporting the backboard as the basketball rim...

he started to run from a distance and jumped for the imagined rim bar...

He touched it,

He tries to grip it,

He cant grip it,

He hands slipped off the bar,

awkwardly...

Everyone was laughing stunned,

When he came to under the basket, he faked a lefty lay-up, pulled the ball down to his chest, made a circle using the ball with his both hands holding on to the ball, and made a lay-up at the right, and he scores...

but i have to admit, the circle he made was rounder...

An attempt to block alvin's lay-up turned out to be a slap at his face...

An attempt for draw a defensive foul turned out to be a charging foul on Mt AND Albin...

Such wonderful play could have only be done by Tony,and possibly being the next signature move, which fans would imitate during their free time.

Secondary One...

We all started being strangers...

I still remembered,

how i got to start have my first conversation with the first person in class, Tony

*I was on my way to the hall for my first assembly in fuhua...

Me: ...ahhh ahhhh, 给我一杯忘情水~~...

Tony: erh...is that 忘情水 you are singing?

Me: ya=)

*and so, we continued our conversation by singing other songs that we knew then...

After the assembly, we went back to our classroom...

I still remembered very clearly, my index number then was 7,

as the following people that i talked to and became my 猪朋狗友 best buddies!!

Again, i was singing quietly in class, Jian Lai, having to sit right beside me, happened to hear me singing...

Teacher: All in index number right?

ALL: Yes~

Teacher : Ok...now i want you all to tell us your name...so that i can take the class attendance, and you people can get to know each other's name...

Me life in secondary 1 was BASKETBALL

Well, in secondary 2, there were more and more of BASKETBALL!!

Alvin, Albin, Tony, weiying, desen, me, zhiqian, darren, kent, jianlai, hong da, jinlong, govider, wei ze, yang jie, kok woon, seow wah, shunjie, eddy, yq, xb,....

(pardon for those names not mentioned...)

I remembered very clearly what was it like then...

School starts at 7.40am,

meet ard 6.50am at sch's basketball court!!

PE!!

"Faster take the basketball from the teacher!!"

"We at basketball court wait!!"

During recess, we would chiong str to the sch's basketball court and play for the whole recess time...

After Sch, sometimes we would str away chiong basketball court and play for until 2-3 hrs, then have lunch together...

sometimes, we would have a quick lunch before playing basketball...

As you all can see...

I was hard-core basketball addict since lower secondary...

LOL

And because of basketball then i got to know yq, xb and others...
